11-10-05 A Fitzgerald Day from DeTour To Whitefish by Cathy Kohring

I began this day at home in DeTour as a photo memorial of the 30th Anniversary of the sinking of the Fitzgerald. I followed the boats from DeTour to the Sault, then toured the Myron gravesite in memory of those sailors, stopped off at the lighthouse at Iriqois Pt and then headed up to Whitefish. Spent the day photographing the preperations for the special service held this night. The "Call to the Last Watch" was a very moving service for all of us that attended it.
