I served on the White as a deckwatch in 1968. Would be interested in hearing from anyone that also sailed on the White that year. I remember the captain's name as Eugene Peo and the boson as Walt Streeter.

Nice collection of life rings
Steve you have a very nice collection of life rings. My grandfather sailed on a couple of those boats. They were the J.P. Morgan Jr. and the A.H. Ferbert. He sailed back in the 50s and 60s.

Excellant shading of the anchor pockets and the rust/water line on this one. So realistic and loved how you captured the shadow of the anchor chain against the bow

Wow! Luke, your sketchs are fantastic. I loved them. Your shading and blending makes it so realistic, right down to the rusting anchor pockets, etc. You are very talented young man. Keep it up.
